Our Focal Initiatives constitute our highest priority projects for each year. Through these, the Education Collaborative achieves its transformational goals.
Designed and hosted in collaboration with lead member institutions, the focal initiatives seek depth in engagement and impact for participants.
– ENTREPRENEURSHIP –
Active Entrepreneurship Ecosystems
This project explores, shares, and implements methods and best practices to Entrepreneurship Ecosystem development on HEI campuses in Africa using successful ecosystems on the continent, including Ashesi University’s case.
– ETHICS AND LEADERSHIP –
Giving Voice to Values, Africa
Realizing that institutions have varying needs, challenges, and contexts, the Giving Voice to Values for Africa Project offers “train-the-trainer” curricula tailored to the African context for capacity building in ethical action and leadership.
– CAREER SERVICES DEVELOPMENT –
Systems Change Program, Employability
This SCP-Employability combines a systems approach and implementation grant to drive change in career policies and structures in participating institutions. Participating institutions develop a lasting and transformative system to improve student employability outcomes.
