Africa is poised for explosive growth in its population over the next three decades, with researchers projecting a doubling of the total population to 2 billion+ by 2050 and a tripling of persons living in urban settings. This will require significant development of highly skilled workers, and leaders who are able to organize the industrial, social, and institutional ventures to address human, environmental, and sustainability needs. This panel brings higher education leaders in conversation with recognized leaders from government, private, and regulatory sectors to critically examine the role of ethics and African values in approaches to developing leaders capable of shaping sustainable African futures.
