Character education, ethical formation, and leadership development are critical for the well-being of society. To advance skills and capacities in these areas, institutions engage in varied initiatives to provide real-life experiences for students to develop and practice these skills. This session shares cases of how institutions build the character of their students through community immersion and service-learning programs. It will explore practical ways of developing skills in self-awareness, influence, ethical analysis and varied leadership experiences of students.
