As the world of work continues to change with technology and other disruptions, there is a need to rethink workplace training for students in HEIs to empower them to be ready for the jobs of today and better prepared for the opportunities of tomorrow. The session introduces a wide array of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunities that cut across co-curricular, extracurricular, and experiential learning activities and approaches. This is expected to empower participating HEIs to determine what WIL opportunities they can capitalize on given the resources they have, which ones they can create through collaborations and how, and which ones give them the best chance of significantly improving the employment opportunities of their students.
