Employability Community of Practice
Building career readiness
With a growing African population and a changing job market, identifying and implementing strategies to improve final-year students’ transition into employment, entrepreneurship, or graduate school has become even more crucial.
The Career Development Community of Practice is committed to exploring and sharing ways students can develop career paths in university and have the requisite know-how to start careers when they graduate.
Workgroups explore how educational institutions can build career-ready learning environments through partnerships and feedback loops with employers and industry and embedding career development programs into campus activities.
This Emplyability CoP explores strategies and approaches that groom students to seamlessly transition into employment, entrepreneurship, and institutions of higher learning when they graduate.
