West Africa Hub Convening
While the Education Collaborative June Convening brings together stakeholders across Africa, the West Africa Hub convening offers a dedicated platform for institutions and educators from the region. Held annually at a chosen location within the region, this focused event harnesses the collective expertise of West African institutions to address challenges and opportunities specific to the sub-region. Participants collaborate on innovative solutions to drive West African higher education towards excellence and contribute to the broader development agenda of the continent.
2024 Convening
The inaugural 2024 West African Hub Convening welcomed 104 participants from 11 countries, representing 33 higher education institutions. Hosted by Pan-Atlantic University, Nigeria, and held in Lagos, Nigeria, the event centered on the theme “Building an Ecosystem of Excellence for Research, Leadership, and Graduate Employability.”
This platform provided a valuable space for university leaders, administrators, stakeholders, and executives in the West Africa region to connect and collaborate on driving progress in higher education.
