High School Leaders Mentorship

Ashesi University has developed, designed, and introduced curriculum, programs, and learning techniques in and out of the classroom in its mission to educate ethical, entrepreneurial, and critical thinking leaders for Africa. In light of this, Ashesi University through the Education Collaborative in collaboration with some high schools is exploring a unique way to extend its reach and spread the Ashesi Way to the secondary school level.  

The vision is to develop a network of Senior High Schools working together to educate ethical, entrepreneurial, and critical thinking leaders on our continent. We hope that through the engagement with Ashesi University and the network, students will further develop their leadership and entrepreneurial skills, engage with technology and robotics for early career exploration, and overall leave high school ready for university and beyond. 

We hope to engage institutions in the following ways through both general and customized models:

1. Student engagement through full and partial programs; including clubs, mentorships, and career exploration programs
2. Teacher training in pedagogy and classroom engagement, and support 
3. School leadership and administrative mentoring and support

High School Leaders Mentorship

Through the School Leaders Mentorship Program, Ashesi provides customized needs-fit solutions to staff and administrators of senior high institutions to aid them to become more effective in running their schools and to enrich students’ learning experience. We assist institutions in areas such as strategic planning, fundraising, curriculum design, marketing and brand positioning, capacity training, research, and campus culture development.
