Topic: Using internal institutional audit outcomes to improve gender inclusion strategies: Cases from 46 Public Colleges of Education in Ghana
Session Objective: This session provides strategies to improve gender inclusion in higher education institutions (HEIs). It uses a case study on Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) initiatives of the T-TEL Program in Ghana’s Public Colleges of Education. The session will present the gender assessment tools, policies made from this assessment and the impact of these GESI initiatives. Through this case study, participants of the session will identify a practical tool to conduct institutional gender audits and ways to strategize to improve gender inclusion based on these audits
